Do you want to practice or jam? - Birmingham

I am a mature amateur guitarist Solihull / Bham trying to find some people to play with, drums, bass, vocals, lead etc. or a band, I have just over a year of playing at home but I feel I would benefit from playing along with others who are tolerant players or maybe at a similar level.
I enjoy playing rock music and want to move to the next level, being honest I would say a rhythm not lead, somewhere between starter / intermediate, to perhaps reach a level for covers gigging? if we would get together and practice enough. I am into classic type rock Zep, Free, Trex, Who. AC DC, Stones, Purple and much more besides but enjoy anything I can play that is not too sophisticated really.
